Growing at an altitude of 900 to 1200 m above sea level on the slopes at the foot of Mount Kerinci near Kerinci Seblat National Park in Sumatra, it receives ample sunshine for most of the year. The tea is harvested and processed there under strict controls, away from environmental pollution

Due to its unique origin from the foot of the Kerinci volcano on Sumatra, our black tea has a tannin content of approx. 18% and offers a mild to strong tea taste - depending on the amount of tea you use. Tannins give the tea a tart taste and a red color similar to red wine. They are only released after a certain brewing time (more than two minutes). You can also benefit from the antioxidant effect of the tannins!
